Job Description
The role responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Take ownership of the regions budget and to ensure a clear business development strategy is in place to deliver.
- Develop key relationships within the Oil & Gas, Mining, Renewables, Utilities and other target sectors.
- Develop and execute a clear new business sales strategy.
- Creating a strategy to map out target customers and projects and the execution of this strategy through customer engagement tactics.
- Management and retention of existing customers - engaging them, understanding opportunities to improve the relationship and upcoming sales opportunities within these customers. This will require involvement in contract meetings with global accounts, reviewing KPIs and monitoring net promoter scores.
- Actively using CRM and Forecasting tools and keeping records up to date, contributing to the BD team initiatives.
- Travel as required (monthly) to engage with stakeholders and customers.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/qualifications:
- You will have at least five years experience of working within the inspection services sector in a sales capacity. You must be able to demonstrate a strong sales record and business development background.
- You must have a proven track record in winning new business, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities, Renewables and have a thorough understanding of the nature of the industry on a global level.
- You will have direct experience in closing large sales deals. Sales cycles are quite long and involve multiple stakeholders. This requires the ability to review complex contracts, dealing with a range of stakeholders, negotiating on commercials including pricing decisions and understanding P&Ls.
- You have excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues at all levels and a client focused outlook.
- A level of expertise that you are proud of, desire to share with the team and take responsibility of continuously developing yourself and them.
- Commercially oriented with high level of creativity and problem-solving skills that enable us to reach our goals.
