Job Description
Marketing Campaign Execution
- Campaign management - assist with the implementation, delivery and reporting on campaign elements.
- Reporting - assist with the reporting for all ongoing marketing activity under the guidance of the Marketing Manager (MM).
- Coordinate and execute EDMs, SMS, sponsored and third-party communications under direction of MM.
- Email - plan, create, execute and manage EDM campaigns as per the agreed time-lines in specific campaign plans.
- Time-line deliverables - adhere to all standard campaign and collateral delivery time-lines in place.
- Website & social media - ensure websites and all digital channels are up-to-date at all times.
- External agencies - manage external agencies, including PR, design, email and other digital suppliers as relevant.
Growth & Commercial Performance
- Assist MM to deliver event specific visitor, exhibitor, education, networking events and digital revenue targets.
- Competitor review - assist MM with the detailed direct and indirect competitor review.
- Insights - demonstrate evidence of continual development in respect to industry knowledge and market information.
Customer-focus
- Actively ensure that all communications created are customer-focused and are aligned to the strategic goals of the brand plan and campaign plan.
- Drive the execution of customer research in collaboration with MM.
- Digital experience - regularly update brand websites and demonstrate how you've improved user experience design and thus user satisfaction.
- Coordinate on-site and pre/post event social media campaigns in line with the social media strategy.
Administration Support
- Travel Interstate when required for client meetings, shows and marketing activity
- Coordinate all required post-show activities, including retrieving guard files, post show report and updates to website
- Preparation of on-site seminar logistics, ticketing requirements, attendee lists and registration
On-site Responsibilities
- Manage event social media channels.
- Assist the MM with the PR agency on PR launches that may arise
- Organise filming and photography at each show.
- Assist with on-site marketing communications - eDMs, SMS to stimulate visitor numbers.
The Successful Applicant
- A relevant business/marketing qualification
- Outstanding Personal drive
- High communication skills - written and verbal and people skills
- Good understanding of brands, and the role of strategy
- High attention to detail with strong capabilities in terms of prioritising work and meeting deadlines
- Must be able to work on multiple initiatives / projects in a fast-paced environment
- Skills and knowledge of MS Office (Microsoft Publisher, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Skills and knowledge of campaign monitor, Google Analytics, Wordpress
- Ability to report on individual campaign aspects on an ongoing basis
