Your role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Legal Executive Assistant to provide secretarial and administrative support to two Partners and two Senior Associates, working on a variety of litigation matters in our Adelaide Dispute Resolution team. This will be a 12 month contract, working 4 days a week (0.8FTE).
As a key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include:
Document production including use of precedents and drafting correspondence Preparation of court documents and document briefs Financial management -coordinating team billing Proactive diary management and coordination of meeting/travel arrangements Liaising with clients as directed by senior client facing staff and maintaining client databases and key contact information Assist with coordination of tenders, pitches as required Answering calls and monitoring emails Reconciliation of corporate AMEX expenses General administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, searches etc Other ad hoc duties as required
What you need
We welcome applications from Legal Executive Assistants with 5+ years' experience. Ideally you will have experience in litigation, including experience with online court portals, and possess the following attributes:
Self-motivation and an ability to work autonomously with minimal direction Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities Significant experience using file management software (preferably FileSite) and account management software (preferably Elite) High level skills in the Microsoft Office suite A strong client focus and demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, industry experts and clients Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels A pro-active and flexible attitude and high degree of initiative A high degree of integrity, as confidentiality is essential
