Randstad have exclusively partnered with a leading National Building Services organisation for the appointment of a National HSEQ Manager(Health, Safety, Environment & Quality in Inner West Sydney.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is crucial to the development of the companys HSEQ vision and strategy. Reporting to the CEO, there is a prominent change management focus. You will be instrumental in the continuous improvement of the management systems, safety culture, risk, auditing and HSEQ performance.

National HSEQ Manager:
- Ensure Structures and systems are in place that result in compliance with relevant workplace health & safety laws
- Develop and manage strategic and business planning for the HSEQ function and
participate in strategic and business planning accordance with company vision and values
- Lead the development of the HSEQ function in collaboration with the Managing Director and State/Business Unit Managers
- Provide strategic leadership, support and advice on HSEQ matters to the Executive Board, Managing Director and Executive Management Team;
- Maintain certification to AS 4801, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Assess gaps for training and develop a plan to close the gaps
- Develop a strategy to build safety culture awareness
- Monitor and review safety performance and roll out initiatives where appropriate
- Ensure the current system for internal auditing is correctly identifying safety risks across the business
- Ensure a correct risk mitigation plan is in place.
- Trend safety performance, anaylse outcomes and manage improvement programs
- Monitor compliance for Safety and Environmental legislation
About You:
- Tertiary Qualifications in OHS/WHS, Environment/Quality
- Proven track record of implementing HSEQ Initiatives on large scale projects
- Solid Safety Investigation Experience using ICAM or Taproot etc
- Internal/Lead Auditor Qualification
- Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
- Strong agent of change
- Skilled communicator with impeccable interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Available to travel intrastate or interstate as required
