job detailsAs a Global OEM this company has created a new role for a General Manager reporting to the APAC Managing Director. This is a business who is in a considerably strong position, with a long standing team of experts and major client accounts already in place.
The Managing Director is looking for someone to make their mark, to take control and lead by example in the position.
The key responsibilities for this role:
- Lead, grow and inspire a team based primarily in Australia across a manufacturing and sales environment
- Maintain, develop and support customers and suppliers
- Produce reports and continually refine processes and procedures
- Drive strong company culture
- Monitor operational performance and help build key objectives and milestones
- Work closely with the Managing Director in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
To be considered for this position:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally mechanical
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset lead by data
- Experience in managing budgets and financial performance
- Entrepreneur mindset - confident to make changes and take control as needed
- Professional approach - potentially with a formal degree
You will be joining a well positioned team, well ahead of their financial objectives and with further growth in mind. With a national team of approx. 60 there is lots of scope to add your own mark.
There is support both locally and internationally to ensure that you are successful in your role and this is a company in acquisition mode so the future possibilities are endless.
