Job summary
UNDERGROUND LOADER OPERATORS required to join our Avebury Nickel Mine team working in a modern, state of the art mine. This is suited to an experienced mine workers prepared to be hands-on in a developing team environment.About The Role:
The purpose of this role is to operate our loader fleet in a manner displaying dedication and discipline in your capacity as a professional underground operator; ensuring operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient manner.
The Main Responsibilities Would Include:
Safely & competently operate our loader fleet to move material as directed Complete daily prestart machine checks Complete refuelling in a safe manner Competently communicate & liaise with operators, engineering & maintenance personnel Keep accurate records of activities in accordance with established standards Monitor machinery/fleet condition, addressing hazards requiring attention and reporting concerns as soon as identified Adhere to all Avebury mine and industry compliance standards Participate in identified training & competency assessments Demonstrate an uncompromised commitment to safety to achieve a workplace target of zero injuries and incidents Ensure the company has the capacity to achieve Zero Harm by actively identifying and reporting hazards using the site's hazard reporting systems.
About You Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate is someone who can bring the following to the role:
Recent experience operating a loader/bogger (including remote operation) in an underground mine environment Strong knowledge & understanding of ground support standards Working at Heights certificate Manual C Class Driver's License is required National Police Clearance & ability to pass pre-employment assessment & DAS if successful

The Minimum Requirements:
Ability to pass a functional pre-employ medical including drug and alcohol screen. Hold a current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence. Provide a National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months. Be health, safe and environmentally conscious Display a collaborative teamwork style with well-honed conflict resolution skills The ability to make practical decisions under pressure.
