To be eligible for this once off opening opportunity, you will;Be guest obsessed and continually look for ways to add value to our customer experience and prioritizing our guests needs as this is our every day business goalsA self-starter with the ability to work unsupervisedEnjoy working a flexible roster including shift work, weekends, and public holidays.Love living the nocturnal life and able to work 2 - 3 night shifts from 23:30 to 07:30 on a rotating rosterYou love a report and will report on anything, the weather, sporting events, even two ants in a race on the footpath, or more officially, compare dollars and cook the books as reporting on the daily revenue is an integral part of your passion;Albert Einstein is your idol and you have a passion for figures, numbers and mathematics, as you will be expected to balance each day with accurate revenue and daily rates;You have dreamed about being Steve Jobs and led from the front with both problem solving, initiative and innovation;Your true passion is hotels, where you would have worked before in either a 4/5 star establishment with either Opera or Fidelio being your rock;
and there are some other technical responsibilities;Receiving & processing reservations for all hotel facetsAuditing and reconcilingProblem Solving Checking guests in & out and everything in betweenMeeting/greeting all guests & answering the telephoneOffering & promoting products/services to guests/potential guestsAttending to guest requestsProviding back-up support to other departments as requiredUndertaking general clerical, cleaning & administrative duties.
Your strengths:Warm, friendly, engaging & positive personalitySuperb organisational skills & attention to detailExemplary communication & interpersonal skillsImmaculate personal presentationExcellent time management skills & ability to multi task in a busy environmentAbility to work autonomously & as part of a cohesive teamEfficient, reliable, takes initiative & displays strong problem solving skillsExperience with property management systems & point of sale is desirable.Be impeccably groomed with a smile that lights up the room!Hold a current RSA and First Aid Certificate preferred
