We are currently seeking a motivated Case Manager to join our team. We are seeking a self-driven, highly organised professional to proactively and effectively manage Workers Compensation claims to achieve sustainable return to work solutions for the NSW coal mining industry. This is an excellent opportunity for you to assist the team to continue to deliver an excellent service to our clients and injured workers.
Role responsibilities:Collaboratively develops claims strategies with IMSCommunicating with relevant stakeholders including but not limited to the worker, Injury Management Specialists, Legal Specialist and Claims LeadsProactively manage all aspects of claims management in line with legislation, business rules and policies and proceduresParticipate in business planning to identify opportunities to improve performance or resolve issues
To be successful you will have:Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsBasic understanding of medical terminologyMinimum 2-3 years Workers Compensation experience (desirable)Experience in claims management and the insurance industryUnderstanding of the Coal Mines Workers Compensation legislation (desirable)An ability to work effectively with all levels of stakeholders including injured workers and allied health professionalsDemonstrated behaviours aligned to our company values and culture we care, we work together, we make a difference.
