job detailsRandstad are partnering with BAE Systems, a world leader in security and defence, to assist them in finding a qualified, permanent Electrical Technician for maintenance on the Anzac Class Navy ships in Henderson WA.

This opportunities will see you:
- Install, repair and commission complex Anzac ship platform systems
- Perform electrical fault finding on ship platform systems
- Perform defect analysis, resolution and provide detailed technical reports
- Assist in the design, construction, testing, set to work and the acceptance of ship platform systems
- Travel interstate to undertake installation and maintenance tasks and support ship platform sea trials
- Prepare and develop technical documentation including test procedures and reports
- Prepare technical details to enable responses to tenders and quotations
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Electrical technician experience with a good understanding of mechanical applications (can be any industry, doesn't need to be naval ship industry)
- Trade Qualification as an Electrician
- Sound fault finding techniques with the ability to diagnose and rectify complex technical problems
- The ability to travel interstate to undertake technical tasks and support ship platform sea trials
- Attention to detail, good communication skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders
- Must be an Australian Citizen with eligibility to apply for a Defence Clearance
