The Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) Team is part of the Technical Services team, which sits in the Support Engineering division of AAP and is responsible for providing MRD Services to the business.
We have recently transformed our business model and as such are looking to grow our current MRD team.
About the opportunity
As a MRD Analyst you will be working in a team environment building relationships with other areas of the business and managing aircraft maintenance policy under the Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) framework.
This would include: Analysing and documenting logistics support requirements for technical equipment Recording analysis results in the Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) Processing detailed amendments and developing solutions to technical problems through the Maintenance Engineering Analysis (MEA) process Reviewing and evaluating technical documentation to identify maintenance tasks necessary to support the aircraft Analysing supplier and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations and determining necessary resources required Assessing capability to carry out maintenance at specific venues
About you
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.
The skills and experience best suited to this role include: Experience in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAM) services in the aviation industry Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent Aircraft Technical trade qualifications Knowledge of Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR) and maintenance policy concepts would be well regarded but is not mandatory Completion of the MRD Practitioners course, intro to ILS course or CAMM2 qualifications would be beneficial but not compulsory Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritise and manage expectations High levels of organisation with strong attention to detail
