Job summary
An exciting opportunity exists for a sonographer to join our friendly and supportive team.The position will be primarily servicing our Border region, at the Albury Wodonga private clinic as well as the Albury Wodonga Health - Albury Campus clinic, you will be exposed to a broad range of examinations and interesting cases.
Location
Straddling the state line that separates Victoria and New South Wales, Albury Wodonga is united by the Murray River that winds its way between the two cities.

The Role
You will have the opportunity to work in a private clinic as well as the public hospital with a team of experienced sonographers and on-site radiologists who live locally.

Key accountabilities include: Consistently delivering high quality and efficient ultrasound imaging services Working together with doctors, technicians and clinic staff to ensure smooth, seamless patient care Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
Key selection criteria: Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) Previous experience practicing sonography in a busy clinic or hospital environment Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff Previous experience in vascular and/or cardiac is not essential but would be favourable

Covid-19 Vaccination Policy and Influenza (Flu) Vaccine Requirements.
I-MED has a policy which requires all I-MED staff to be vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 unless they have a valid medical exemption, however each state may have applicable Public Health Orders with additional requirements, and this will be discussed during the interview process.
In addition, the Victorian Department of Health has recently mandated the flu vaccine for public and private hospital employees from 16 August 2022. All Victorian I-MED staff who work in or visit a hospital site must have had a flu vaccination in the last 12 months by 16 August unless they have a valid medical exemption.
The successful candidate for this role will be required to comply with I-MED's policy, any applicable Government public health orders and any hospital requirements. During our interview process, we will be asking you to please confirm your ability to meet the above-mentioned requirements of the role.
