Due to the companys growth, there is now a requirement for an experienced Electrical Technician to assist in the development of our manufacturing and automation systems. The successful candidate will have excellent electrical knowledge, including installation and maintenance.

To say our product pipeline is extensive would be an understatement.
The Position
You will be working between two brand new facilities south of the river requiring fit out and maintenance with some of the most advanced manufacturing processes the world has seen.
The successful applicant will need to have a good attitude and a strong work ethic and will be working as part of a cross functional team.
Key Responsibilities:Install, test, troubleshoot, maintain and repair electrical components of highly sophisticated manufacturing equipmentRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipmentDiagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems and equipment using test equipmentPerform preventative maintenance through inspection of electrical systems, equipment and componentsWiring motor control centres (MCC)
To be considered for this position you will need:A grade electrical licensePLC and control systems experienceStrong commitment to health and safetyBasic drawing interpretation skillsKnowledge of machines, mechanics & electrical principlesGeneral electrical installation experienceInstrumentation and automation experience will be a positiveEWP, WAH tickets desirable (must obtain once employed)
