Job Description
This role is both a challenging and rewarding with your main responsibility being to achieve this clients sales objectives via distribution, shelf management, promotional program initiatives.
- Implement promotional programs to achieve budgeted sales targets
- Negotiate over & above commitments with the account
- Present new lines to buyers & manage NPD ranging process
- Work with the account to ensure all of their products are presented in a manner to maximise shelf space and position according to our Marketing Guidelines
- Continually evaluate & review promotions conducted to ensure maximum effectives of trade funds
- Provide leadership, account support and guidance to State Account Business Managers
The Successful Applicant
- Qualifications in a Business degree or a related field, or equivalent experience within the pharmacy channel
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Account Management within the FMCG industry
- Experience in dealing with the Pharmacy channel at head office level
- Exposure and understanding of FMCG market data e.g. IRI/IQVIA
- Must have strong financial/analytical acumen
- Must have effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
- Advanced excel & computing skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as being a self-starter
