Job Description
You'll work closely with key decision-makers, collaborating on strategic initiatives and driving the financial health of the organisation. Your contributions will make a tangible difference, not only in the lives of the people you work with but also in the overall success of our business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Take charge of onboarding the accounting arm for every new Partner business
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings, providing personalised solutions to meet their specific needs
- Support the wider accounting team by offering guidance, collaboration, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and efficient services
- Supervise the daily bookkeeping tasks of the accounting team and assist Partners with understanding financial statements and ledgers
- Assist with month-end financial preparations, invoice processing, and audit processes, and help Partners with divisional budgets and re-forecasts, including P&L analysis, cash flow management, and capital expenditure planning
The Successful Applicant
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or MBA is highly desirable
- CA/CPA or working towards
- Demonstrated success with P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ability to explain accounting results to non finance people
- Advanced skills with Xero
