Job summary
WORKSHOP ADMINISTRATORAs part of the BMI Group, BMI Resource Recovery is focused on the recovery of resources from building and construction activities. This minimises waste going into landfill and maximises recycling initiatives while providing a broad range of quality resources for the building, landscaping, and civil construction industries.
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Administrator to join our team at Acacia Ridge and become part of the team responsible for providing first class, environmentally sound resource recovery operations for Brisbane and surrounds.
This is a permanent full time role, reporting to the Workshop Manager, and will be responsible for day-to-day workshop administrative tasks including management and recording of maintenance compliance documentation for heavy equipment and fleet vehicles.
Duties and responsibilities will include: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Efficiently and effectively manage compliance records including updating of systems records, data entry, analysis and reporting Assist with scheduling of workloads for the workshop to ensure proactive PM and to minimise machine downtime. Assist with completion and recording of service order reports and job cards. Creation of administrative task manuals. Participate in continual improvement initiatives to ensure delivery of optimum administrative support for the Workshop Maintenance Team.
Suitable candidates will: Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a workshop/heavy industry position or similar role. Solid intermediate skill with MSExcel and MSWord) with strong written communication skills.. Ability to work to tight and changing deadlines; Be innovative, work independently and within a team.
