job detailsWe have compelling opportunities working for a large local government organisation working as a Customer Liaison Officer who can work with clients and customers in Brisbane and the surrounding suburbs. As part of the team, you will be working in South Brisbane.
About your new role
Working as a Customer Liaison Officer you will have a specific focus on liaising with customers, clients, and suppliers alike. Based out of Brisbane City Council's largest cemetery, you will be responsible for:
- The sale of all products and services in the cemetery office and their achievement toward monthly budgets including the receipt and processing of sales payments, petty cash and preparation of banking deposits.
- Undertaking burial bookings, burial searches, phone enquiries, and plaque and memorial sales.
- Solve problems and make decisions relating to the day to day operation of the cemetery/crematorium office to
ensure all customer complaints, requests for service and/or information are dealt with in a professional, informative and timely manner.
- Undertake all administrative duties associated with the operation of Cemeteries through the proficient use of
Council computer systems and software packages.

A strong sense of teamwork, a commitment to safety and ensuring all work is conducted according to safety procedures and guidelines. In order to be a successful applicant, the following licences are required:
