We are currently seeking to immediately fill two (2) permanent vacancies located in the Perth Metropolitan Area and Bunbury, and establish a pool of suitably qualified applicants for the role of Livestock Compliance Inspector.

Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join DPIRD as a Livestock Compliance Inspector. Within this role you will undertake the delivery of effective and efficient compliance activities, inspections and investigations relating to livestock welfare.

As a Livestock Compliance Inspector you will undertake investigations and inspections relating to breaches of livestock welfare, you will prepare and submit evidence reports, issue notices and warnings and serve summons as required. This is a great opportunity to build and maintain relationships with team members and other stakeholders through sharing knowledge and learning with others.

In line with the above skill set, you may also be called upon to undertake compliance and education activities within other business areas of DPIRD.

Are you someone who is passionate about livestock welfare? If so, this role is for you! To be successful for this role you will have knowledge and understanding in dealing with livestock welfare. You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to deliver compliance strategies to achieve desired outcomes. Strong communication skills are essential to engage with internal and external stakeholders and to maintain strong working relationships.
