Job Description
About you
- Resilient and comfortable in influencing and communicating with all stakeholders about DevOps practice and subsequent culture shifts
- Passionate about DevOps/Cloud/Automation and have a keen interest to solve complex problems in a systematic approach
- You take ownership of a situation by being inclusive, collaborative with a positive attitude, and know how to iterate through a problem quickly.
- You enjoy collaborating closely with your DevOps peers and delivery teams to drive continuous improvements/deployments
- Mindset for continuous learning and adapting to the ever-changing technology landscape
Technical skills
- Passion for e2e automation with infrastructure as Code (Iac) (Terraform, Ansible, Cloudformation)
- Experience with git, branching, and release process
- Experience with scaling containers(K8, docker) and serverless architecture
- Experience in driving DevOps function in software design and development
- Experience with building and maintaining sophisticated CI/CD Pipelines & automation
- Experience in implementing and design of AWS cloud solutions in a commercial enterprise environment
- Experience in SRE and monitoring complex distributed systems (New Relic)
- Experiences implementing security DevOps practices
Experience decomposing complex problems down into sprint deliverables in projects
The Successful Applicant
Accountabilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of automation foundation, standards and practices for the Cloud Services team drawing on knowledge of DevOps/Cloud industry practices and frameworks.
- Drive implementation of DevOps/Cloud automated solution in project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Application Development Teams to align and influence DevOps practices that enable faster delivery and effective maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to the migrations of existing solutions and development of new solutions following the Cloud Services technology roadmap.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication to manage agreed outcomes, concerns, risks and issues.
- Contribute to the Infrastructure Department strategy and the Cloud Services roadmap.
- Actively participate in the Delivery team / Cloud Services team's agile practices to efficiently deliver stakeholder outcomes.
- Support other Cloud Services team members in the support and troubleshooting of cloud services and infrastructure
