Join the RAC Insurance Claims team and know you are making a genuine difference to the lives of our members! Our Claims Specialists are responsible for having telephone and online based conversations with our members when they need us most. On a daily basis you will be utilising your administrative skills and customer service experience to deliver outcomes for our members.
On a daily basis you will be contributing by:Managing an individual caseload of claims through to finalisationIdentify potential recovery action as part of effective claims managementReview quotes and authorise repair costsNegotiate on settlements for claimsAct as a technical referral point for internal teamsConsistently provide service that exceeds member's expectationsIdentify continuous improvement initiatives
What are we looking for?Exceptional customer service skills and a high attention to detailExcellent communication and strong negotiation skillsAbility to gather, collate and present evidence and make informed decisionsAbility to clearly communicate complex processes and decisions to our membersResults orientated mindsetSelf-driven and motivated with the ability to work autonomouslyPrevious experience working within the financial services industry desirable
