About Our ClientYou will be joining a leading innovative science-based global company that operates in the areas of nutrition, health, and sustainable living.
The Australian manufacturing team located near Liverpool in Western Sydney focuses on the 'health and food ' side of the business, making a range of food and drink additives, vitamins, cultures for yogurt etc.
With 60+ people on-site and a production team running 24/6 this company is rapidly growing and looking to add more people to their team
Job Description
Working in a small team, you will be carrying out a range of process and production tasks to ensure that the high-quality food-related products being manufactured are correct, and comply with HACCP and other health and safety standards. Some of your day-to-day tasks will include;
- Operating processing equipment & machinery
- Continuous improvement and validation checks
- Mixing raw material and food ingredients
- Preparing batches and blending
- Working from pick lists
- Updating the system as needed
- Maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards
This is a hands-on role technical role, not only operating machinery but looking at a whole range of tasks, including continuous improvement initiatives
You will also need to comply with strict quality and safety standards, including wearing gowns, hair nets etc.
The Successful Applicant
You have a background in food manufacturing, or similar and understand the strict standards. You are looking for a permanent day shift role where you can take on more ownership and have opportunities to grow and develop your career.Key Skills Required to help you succeed
- Experienced working in an FMCG manufacturing environment (dairy, brewery, food or pharma)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to complete paperwork with basic maths and computer skills
- Good communicator
- Team player who is process-driven and safety focused
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and some repetitive tasks
Any additional tickets such as a forklift and boiler licence would be fantastic, but not essential.
Process Engineers are also encouraged to apply

- Pay range based on experience is from $37 - $44 per hour ($75k-$85k) + overtime, super and bonus
Hours are:
Tuesday to Friday 6am-2pm, and
Saturday 8am-6pm (paid overtime the whole shift)
There is some flexibility and the ability to swap shifts, swap days off etc, however, your normal shift would be Tuesday to Saturday
