We are currently seeking an experienced, fulltime Administration Officer to work at our hospital site based at Waratah, Newcastle. This position is integral in ensuring the operational requirements of our Catering Team to meet our contractual obligations and client requirements. The role supports lifestyle choice with early start and early finish times 6:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday.
To be successful in this role you will have previous administrative experience of at least 3 years, ideally within a hospital or corporate environment, you will be a self-starter and self-directed employee, have a strong safety focus, excellent people and communication skills and be professionally presented. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary. In addition, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following: Demonstrated experience in Administration Proficient with Microsoft suite of programs with the ability to learn new IT programs/systems Experience with receiving Catering supplies and perishable goods Experience with payroll processing tasks Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to apply appropriate policy requirements to tasks in the work environment Accurately complete reports as required Ability and willingness to work in a restricted site with site, legislative and contractual policies and protocols An understanding or the ability to acquire HACCP policy knowledge An understanding or the ability to acquire Food Safety Certificate
