About Our ClientOur client is a full-service marketing agency dedicated to the mining sector, based in Perth CBD. They provide a solution for Mining Equipment Technology and Services businesses who need expert marketing leadership to accelerate growth and improve profitability. They are on a lookout for a gun Senior Strategy Account Manager to join their team and help take the business to the next level.
Job Description
As a full-service agency you will work across both traditional and digital media, events, social media, EDMs, 3D & video, merchandise and more. This is also a highly strategic position, requiring you to play a leading role in shaping the future direction of their clients' businesses, and the agency itself.
- Lead the strategic marketing direction for a portfolio of existing clients, and new clients.
- Oversee client engagements from on-boarding to strategy sessions, including educating the client on agency processes.
- Actively communicate with clients to learn about their requirements and develop their marketing and sales strategies, campaigns and projects.
- Manage/mentor a team of account coordinators and creative specialists.
- Oversee inbound/outbound client marketing campaigns (SEO/SEM/EDM/social/events) to grow targeted awareness and generate qualified leads.
- Introduce and develop Agency processes and systems to ensure consistent performance, growth and client satisfaction.
- Actively look for new clients, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
This role would suit a marketing all-rounder with advanced people skills and an ability to talk 'at any level'. - 5+ years' experience in a similar role, delivering/executing strategy, campaigns, and projects.
- Ideally 2+ years exposure to the mining and/or METS sector.
- Experience coaching and mentoring direct reports.
- Excellent written copywriting skills.
- Working knowledge of common marketing and sales platforms (websites, social platforms, CRM, Google Ads/Analytics).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, InDesign.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Budgeting and financial management kills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Highly adaptive, and able to work with various stakeholders.
