Job Description
Reporting to the Group Accounting Manager, your role will include:
- Providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the growing business
- Assisting in month end accounting processes including journals, reconciliations, and preparation of reports
- Assisting with external and internal audits
- Monthly posting of recurring journals including accruals and prepayments
- Complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have proven experience in an Assistant Accountant/ Accountant role, along with the following attributes:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience
- Ability to work proficiently in a high-volume environment
- Experience with working in a multinational company within a similar industry (preferred but not required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- A strong understanding of Accounting software and ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
- Working towards/ completed CA/ CPA qualifications
- Positive and vibrant personality
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Good time management skills
- Growth mindset
- Team player
