Experienced Chef with minimum ten years experience in a busy commercial kitchen required. Rotational shifts, providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Working in a team to provide nutrition for 250 plus per day. You will be working under pressure to get the job done but you will be doing a job that matters.
Key Responsibilities Preparation and production of food as required Prepare and present special menu items showing variety and flair Review stock and ensure rotation and minimum wastage. Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is cleaned and operational during your shift. Undertake Food safety Supervisor training Place stock orders on a rotational basis
What you bring Experience as a Commis chef within a fast pace, dynamic environment A certificate IV in Commercial Cookery Advanced and communication skills Ability to maintain high and consistent standards Ability to work under pressure Excellent organisational skills & grooming standards Understanding of HACCP principles and practices Ability to multitask and react to a dynamic environment. Available to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays. A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
