job detailsProject Manager Cyber Security is currently required for a contract to end of June 2023 to initially lead the projects through the early phases from trialing platform and service options
through the procurement process and ultimately to a pilot deployment
The Project Manager will manage three strategic projects to trial and ultimately select three strategic security platforms. These platforms are:- Event Logging / SOC platform - Asset Distribution platform
Specifically, the role will have responsibility for:
Leading the project execution including the management of the project team.
Implement effective governance and controls across the projects including financial, schedule management resourcing, risk and issue management and service oversight
Hands-on approach to initiating new projects, team resourcing, prioritization, and ensuring effective planning is undertaken
Oversight and facilitation of strategic procurement processes for these projects
Identification and proactive management of risks and issues affecting the projects and be effective in mitigation
Management of any vendors engagements (at delivery level)
transitional support of projects into BAU operations
Development of the business case for the full roll-out and ongoing service delivery function To be successful in this position you will be an experienced Project Manager who has solid experience in delivering infrastructure projects preferably in the security space. You will will also be experienced with managing projects with significant procurement components preferably platform selection.
