The Centre
This lovely 150 place service located in the heart of Orange is looking for a Centre Director to help guide and lead their team of educators. The centre incorporates a Reggio Emilia approach to learning whereby children are encouraged to explore and guide their learning through experiences which are implemented by the educators of the service and according to the Early Years Early Learning Framework (EYLF).
The service has a supportive team of staff and offers paid training and development opportunities so their educators are able to continually gain more experience and knowledge of the Early Years industry. The centre is newly built with purpose-built indoor and outdoor spaces and is well resourced so educators are able to seamlessly provide high quality learning experiences.
The Role
As the Centre Director of the service, your responsibilities will include:
- Motivating, supporting and working in partnership with the Assistant Director, Educational Leader and all educators, driving them to excel as they deliver care and educational programs to children.
- Driving quality in practices in line with the National Quality Standards
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
- Mentoring and guiding the service philosophy
- Liaising with stakeholders, clients and the local community
- Being in charge of the daily management and administration of the service
- Being enthusiastic, positive, productive and conduct oneself in a professional manner

About You
To be successful in this position you must have:
- A Diploma or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- For ECTs - a Provisional or Proficient NESA Accreditation
- A current Working with Childrens Check
- Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Experience in an Assistant Manager or Director role
