Randstad's CPE Division are expanding our presence within the Renewable Energy sector, resulting in a exclusive opportunity with a National Contractor who has won key packages of works on a Major Wind Farm Project in QLD

They have engaged us to source a Project Manager to report directly into Project Director and General Manager for long term career advancement within their growing Green Energy sector.

Join a reputable contractor who has extensive pipeline of projects. This contractor has excellent strong international financial backing providing excellent capital Investment for growth within this sector

Managing a major package of Electrical Reticulation works - working with an established project team, Due to more confirmed project wins they are looking for their next Project Manager to expand to settle and grow professionally achieving long term development and career progression.

Duties will include:

- Working Closely and reporting directly into the Project Director and - General Manager to work on major wind farm project near Brisbane.
- Working with Tier 1 principal contractor dealing with electrical reticulation packages covering conduits, pits, installation and testing.
- 2 x Years + contract with commissioning works to follow - Other projects to follow
- Working within the project team overseeing construction ensuring key project deliveries are met Commercially minded/ investigate and solve issues
- Hybrid role working from home / Brisbane Office and some time on site if feel
- Delivering full electrical package
- Technical, Engineering, Inspection scheduling and quality controls
- Ensuring all site activities and operational delivery is performed in accordance with HSE legislation
- Working within the project team Planning, Estimation, scheduling, and budgeting, as well as progress and cost reporting
- Long term career opportunity to assist the company to build and grow presence in the renewable energy sector
- Quality Assurance / Quality Control of construction delivery
- Managing Site / Project Engineers / Site Managers

To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:

degree in Civil Engineering and proven Project Management experience within the utilities sector

- Degree qualified Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years Project Management experience with Electrical / renewable energy sector experience
- Wind Farm Solar farm experience highly regarded
- Proven track record of compliance and safety
- Manage project execution and delivery to ensure adherence to approved margins resource programming, schedule and scope of work
- Proven experience working to Tier 1 / Mid Tier contractors
- Risk management, track project delivery
- Understanding and experience in self performing and sub contract works
- Be able to cost and plan works effectively
- Working within the project team to deliver practical solutions with attention to the required detail
- Excellent communication skills
