job detailsRandstad is currently working closely with one of its longtime clients, a reputable growing ASX listed business. The organisation and its management team are widely regarded as leaders in procurement, with sustainable and best practice sourcing front of mind.

The role is available due to an internal promotion, and flexible working is encouraged, however applicants must be located in, or willing to relocate to Adelaide.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic sourcing across multiple categories, particularly indirect and services and a strong focus on IT
- Management of an existing supplier base, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships and added value for the organisation and its customers
- Analysis and reporting of supplier performance, supply chain risks and procurement activities to identify opportunities for improvement
- Encouraging collaboration between procurement and a diverse range of stakeholders, particularly in IT, in order to align objectives and achieve procurement outcomes
- Some ongoing post award contracts management, including partnering with projects teams to achieve outcomes
- Assisting to formulate forward-thinking strategies such as supplier consolidation and category management plans
The successful applicant will require:
- Minimum 10 years experience in leading end to end procurement in the categories listed above
- Demonstrated commercial contract negotiation achievements within IT
- Experience in a medium to large organisation in either public or private sector
- Previous exposure to strategic procurement with a category framework
- Confident stakeholder engagement and partnering
