Job Description
The Department of Business Strategy and Innovation, is seeking applications from people to contribute to and professionally develop in this high-performing teaching and research environment.
As a Lecturer in Management, you will be responsible for course development and delivery (online and/or on-campus) at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The role will also contribute to the administration and management of teaching, including full course coordination and management of teaching teams, and continuous improvement of teaching materials and processes.
This is a full-time, continuing position based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University, there may be a requirement for you to work across other campus locations.
About You
In order to be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following selection criteria: A doctoral qualification in management or related disciplineThe ability to foster an outstanding student experience and encourage active participation and engagement in learning and teaching across the programsKnowledge and skills in teaching and curriculum development in the management discipline. This may include the fields of strategic management, leadership, business ethics, sustainability, quality management, and decision-making.A developing track record, including research interests and an ongoing research program within the management discipline, including publications in leading academic journalsA developing track record of industry engagement and impact of researchExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to working in a collegial manner contributing to a positive culture and the aspirations of the Department, School and the University.
Salary Range
The base salary for a Lecturer (Level B) position is in the range $100,137- $118,916 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $117,160 - $139,132 per annum.
