job detailsThe Randstad procurement team are seeking candidates available for 12 month contracts in state government. Spanning multiple areas, like health, education, utilities and essential services and construction, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to projects and activities that directly impact the people of SA.

Opportunities vary from ASO4 level to ASO7, and hourly pay range will vary depending on your experience and availability to start. Randstad offer flexible working arrangements, with supportive consultants, the opportunity to contract through your own PTY LTD, and weekly pay. Join our other contractors who enjoy consistent work, with the flexibility to take holidays and breaks as required.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct all sourcing, project and contract activities for a variety of services, ICT, and a small amount of goods
- Encouraging best practice and providing advice to staff on policy, procedures, and procurement process/tools
- Initiating new supplier agreements, renegotiation of existing contracts particularly in relation to services procurement
The successful applicant will require:
- Demonstrated experience in strategic procurement of services, from any industry but particularly beneficial if you are from public sector, not for profit, aged care, local government or similar
- You will be passionate about achieving procurement outcomes and eager to learn from experienced industry professionals
- Tertiary qualifications preferred and ability to obtain national police clearance (at Randstads expense) is essential
