Job Description
- Coordinate the 'end-to-end' contract delivery process across all business functions.
- Prepare contracts ensuring compliance with our clients internal contract management policies and processes. Examples includes agreements, contracts and deeds to engage contractors and consultants for property development projects leases, licences and agreements for the property investment team art loan and other creative production agreements.
- Support the delivery of a fully integrated contract management system.
- Support the residential sales process with the property development team by implementing systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery including managing the engagement with external lawyers.
- Assist the corporate team with governance, compliance and due diligence.
- Working with external lawyers and Chief Operating Officer, continuously review and develop a suite of contract templates across all business units including procuring verification letters from external law firms related to contract templates.
- Build and maintain key relationships across the business to understand potential legal risks and work with stakeholders to proactively mitigate these risks.
- Manage external legal counsel relationships ensuring delivery of high quality service and value for money.
- Maintain an accurate database of all contracts.
- Keep across all relevant legislative and regulatory changes to ensure operational processes are compliant.
- Identify, recommend and implement process improvements, including opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
The Successful Applicant
- Commercial property experience or desire to upskill in this area is a must.
- Experienced in preparing and managing legal documentation and contracts.
- Highly organised, methodical and meticulous in your approach to information management, with exceptional attention to detail and an ability to confidently work across multiple priorities.
- Reliable, trustworthy and calm in the face of complexity.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships.
- Open to change and embrace technology.
