Chandler Macleod, in collaboration with Santos, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the upstream maintenance team in Perth, WA. The primary objective of this position is to support the safe delivery of the planning, preparation and execution of the brownfields Offshore business in line with Santos Safety Management systems, and managing the CAPEX budget items for Ningaloo Vision.
Tasks include:Preparing budgets and schedules for Ningaloo Vision project scopesPreparing, tracking and resolving key decisions in the strategy developmentCoordinating Engineering, Maintenance, Production and Operations teams to collate brownfield project scopes of workAct as an interface coordinator between key stakeholdersLead external project and engineering teams to deliver scopes, as requiredManagement and delivery of the Ningaloo Vision C&FA projectsManage budgets across C&FA projectsInput to cost benefit assessments for facility projects prior to project approvalInput to capital budget development for brownfields projectsMonthly reporting of allocated projects outlining actual and forecast schedule and budgetCoordinate procurement, fabrication and vendors for allocated projectsContribute to delivering on cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies as directedCo-ordination of internal and external support services to meet objectives and targets for brownfields executionCompliance with the Santos Management System (SMS).Compliance with the Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA).Compliance with the Santos Corporate Governance and Safety requirements.
This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.
Location for this assignment is Perth, WA working full-time office hours.
About YouBe degree qualified in a relevant engineering disciplineHold a Project management qualificationHave extensive experience in projects, operations and maintenance on oil and gas facilitiesHave extensive experience working with offshore facilitiesStrong understanding of Project Management principles and demonstrated application to medium to large projectsDemonstrated budget management and cost control experienceDemonstrated commitment to compliance with Santos Health Safety Environment Management SystemsExperience in delivering a broad portfolio or program of projects
Desired experience for this position includes:Experience in working with late-life assetsExperience in delivering key decisions and strategic plans to the businessExperience in working with production engineering and well optimisationExperience working directly with offshore operations teamsBroad understanding of technical, marine and execution standards in relation to FPSO activities
