Service Streams Telecommunications division are currently seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner to join our Team to prevent injuries and illness by partnering with local business management and workers to achieve a healthy and safe workplace Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time Location: Paramatta, NSW Reporting Line: Workforce Manager
Key Responsibilities: Coaching and advising management and workers on meeting their work health and safety duties. Supporting management and workers in the implementation of policies, systems, programs and initiatives and meeting local legislative requirements. Providing support for the companys risk management and consultative processes. Providing local support for the companys assurance processes including audits, inspections and investigations and reporting to relevant stakeholders. Coaching and advising management and workers on all work health and safety matters relevant to the work activities undertaken. Coordinate provision of HSE services to Service Stream operations in the region
About You: Demonstrated experience in an HSEQ role with a strong quality background, highly regarded Working knowledge of Legislation, Standards and Codes and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and AS 4801 standards Prior experience managing Safety, Environment and Quality requirements for major engineering or construction projects, with a strong track record in working effectively with project contractors is highly regarded Experience in auditing, investigation and environmental/quality reporting Excellent communication and people management skills Power, gas, water, or other utilities industry experience desirable Relevant qualification in WHS/OH&S, Quality and / or Environment or Engineering/Science Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
