This is a key position as part of our John R Turk Sydney Metro Projects team for a Projects Administrator to focus within the lighting space, where you will be responsible for providing accurate, competitive, and timely project pricing on all project opportunities through a systematic and considered process. You will also be responsible for driving successful outcomes and supporting the network in providing a positive customer experience.
A bit about your role Effectively read, evaluate and create customer quote requests that are presented professionally and on time. Read and check lighting specifications to ensure they are in sync with layout and application on drawings. Interact with customers and suppliers if inconsistencies in specifications and drawings are discovered to seek a successful outcome. Build relationships with manufacturers and Sales Representatives to produce competitive and timely pricing. Collaborate with management to determine cost and sell amounts to maintain and optimise margins. Increase overall project conversion rate in line with department goals. Check the specifications and quantities against the order after successful acquisition of project. 100% use of CRM to manage opportunity activities
A bit about you High school/ diploma or general education degree. Similar experience essential Electrical wholesaling, trades or building/construction industry experience, with any associated qualifications highly regarded. Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of MS Excel & Project. Positive customer service skills. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask while staying organised. Strong Business acumen, with the ability to think outside of the square Ability to work autonomously and set goals
