About UsFire Systems Products is a strongly growing fire systems distributor based in Caringbah in Sydney's South. We specialise in selling fire protection and gas suppression equipment.
We are currently seeking to appoint a motivated Warehouse Labourer for our Company. This is a great opportunity for someone that likes working with tools and wants to learn new skills.
We are offering a full-time position to a candidate who has a real interest in learning our industry and seeking opportunity to grow and develop. With a strong focus on following process and procedures and being highly organised, you will be encouraged to improve productivity and proficiency.
Qualifications & ExperienceValid drivers licence EssentialForklift licence an advantage Hand and Power tool experience an advantageBasic Microsoft Office and Computer Skills an advantageTrade Experience an advantageMedium Rigid truck licence an advantageFamiliar with Work Health and Safety compliance pertaining to a warehouseFirst Aid certificate II/CPR accreditation desirable
Our ExpectationsThis position requires you to be reliable and proficient when performing day to day tasks.Display a can do attitude and being adaptable and flexible to work in the warehouse but also support the wider team with other duties, when required.Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulationsEnsure compliance with all safety and quality standards including; Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
Tasks & ResponsibilitiesSanding of gas cylinders in preparation for painting, this is a large part of the job, re conditioning gas cylinders and cleaning valves. You will be taught how to do this task properly and eventually taught to spray paint. Hand painting and spray painting are both part of the job You will be required to receive all deliveries and load all pick upsPrepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule. (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Receive, process and communicate warehouse stock products. (pick, unload, label, store)Ensure deliveries match Purchase Orders and accurately report delivery discrepancies.Perform inventory controls and keep high quality standards for audits.Liaise with all appropriate personnel regarding incoming/outgoing inventory, including all delivery dockets, invoices, copies of transfers, stock requisitions and any other relevant documentationEnsure daily checklists are completed and copies filed.
You will be joining a friendly, successful small business team where you will be taught how to sand and paint cylinders properly and to our standards.
You will be required to have an enthusiastic attitude and want to learn.

This position will be a full-time permanent position after successful completion of a three (3) month probation period.
