job detailsReporting to the Maintenance Manager the Team Supervisor is a key member of the Reliability team supporting the delivery of all elements of the reliability process. The role will provide leadership and direction & assistance to the reliability team, and assist the Maintenance Manager to coach & develop a high performing team. They will develop the team to improve performance through coaching and development to exceed targets in safety, quality, uptime and cost. The role is responsible for the integrity of all data in the CMMS system & the effective use of this data to achieve high efficiencies and effectiveness of the entire Reliability department.
The Shift Pattern available is: (Rotating fortnightly shift pattern) 6pm - 6am
Key Responsibilities Include:

- Responsible for daily supervision of reliability activities and resources, work orders and staff
- Provide data, analysis and advice on reliability performance
- Attend and capture feedback from daily board and pulse meetings, site stakeholders & FMS to improve systems & continually improve processes
- Actively seek to reduce unplanned stoppages
- Ensure plant information in CMMS system is accurate & up to date
- Ensure reliability schedules are accurate & comprehensive
- Regularly audit plant assets & implement accurate plant numbering system.
- Develop and continually audit bill of materials for plant items
- Develop & keep updated tasks, schedules within the CMMS system. Within GF national set guide lines & systems
- Implement, audit & continually update the master reliability plan, seeking input from all stakeholders to ensure its accuracy.
- Maintaining annual equipment overhaul / shutdown schedules
- Manage reliability requests, through the correct reliability request procedure implemented.
- Spare parts planning & procurement
- Capacity planning and loading
- Capture all reliability requests into CMMS system
- Scope all work, plan ad hock requests
- Plan & acquire all resources needed for tasks in conjunction with site stakeholders
- Forecast available resources for future periods together with the planner
- Forecast all reliability work to be performed
- Allocate in conjunction with AM Team Manager all tasks for reliability department to implement
- Highlight deficiencies in capacity & possible negative impacts on reliability performances
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver the Reliability Plan
- Improve employee engagement through leadership and modelling positive behaviours consistent with company and site values
- Manage Overhead costs (R&M, Energy, Water) to meet budgeted costs
- Manage direct labour plans, with focus on meeting budgeted labour spend
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- 5 Yrs Experience in Reliability Management (FMCG Preferred)
- Understanding of WHS regulations and site Safety MAP elements
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Computing skills SAP & Mainplan
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Mechanical engineering or electrical Trade qualifications essential.
- Electrical licence essential
- Leadership skills to achieve targets and efficiencies
The Roster Would be as Follows:
Supervisor 1
Wk 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Wk:2 Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
Supervisor 2
Wk 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Wk 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday , Saturday
