The Successful Applicant
- 5 + years experience in a HR Management role or Senior BP position
- Previous relevant experience in the Human Resources field within a multidisciplinary environment with an appreciation of contemporary Human Resource Management issues
- A good working knowledge and understanding of applicable current Federal and State legislative requirements (e.g. Fair Work Act, Equal Employment Opportunity, Industrial Awards)
- Highly developed interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with and motivate a wide range of people and groups to achieve agreed results and outcomes and ensure delivery of a high level of customer service
- Proven ability to research and write associated letters, reports, policies and procedures relevant to the role
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, both as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Highly developed organisational and administrative skills with the ability to effectively prioritise multiple projects and coordinate conflicting priorities to meet strict deadlines and achieve outcomes
- Ability to apply attention to detail and complete tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to exercise initiative and make good decisions including solving day to day problems, applying the appropriate level of discretion and confidentiality to the role
- Ability to work effectively under pressure both as a team member and autonomously with minimal supervision
