About the role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer is ultimately responsible for providing technical and process support to the production teams to ensure that equipment and manufacturing processes are working effectively and efficiently. Based in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, your focus will be to provide solutions, troubleshoot production issues and analyse data on asset performance.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide SME support to key site stakeholders
- Execute strong communication and problem solving in collaboration with the engineering team
- Develop and understand critical manufacturing systems and processes
- Provide feedback to the maintenance team supporting the PMO program
- Monitor equipment performance to prevent significant equipment or plant issues
- Coordinate equipment and facility maintenance with the Quality and Operations team to ensure compliance an minimisation to production schedules
Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering
- Advanced skills in documentation and technical writing
- Sound analytical skills for problem solving
- Demonstrated working knowledge of RCA and FMEA
- Knowledge and understanding of cGMP
- Understanding of CMMs/EAM systems
- Applicants from a FMCG background are strongly encouraged to apply
- Must be a resident of Australia
