Job summary
The role:We see your role as one of the most critical roles for our business. This role is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and closing sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services.
This position will be based at Townsville .
Responsibilities include:
Operational Meet personal and team sales targets Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products Help with store stock management to enhance customer experience
Reporting Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts (or as required)
Customer Focus Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement Build an open-communication environment for your team Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales
Workplace Health and Safety
Take responsibilities on behalf of the organisation, but must also comply with requirements as workers, including: Ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures Maintain relevant knowledge of WHS issues Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours
About you:
You will be a sales focused individual with previous front counter sales experience in theindustry. Your ambition to take the next step in your career important, because after your initial training you will be handed the keys to your ute to get out on the road and start selling! To be considered for this role you will need:
Essential skills/experience Proven work experience as an Inside / internal sales role Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel Target driven towards increasing customer satisfaction and experience In-depth understanding of the sales administration process Excellent interpersonal and team management skills Strong analytical and organisational skills Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude Qualification in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field
Desired skills/experience Knowledge of Salesforce Experience in a manufacturing / industrial sector / trade supplies
