TheAPS5 Property Officer has a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of property matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries. There may be occasional requirements for travel and to increase efforts in order to meet tight operational deadlines.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Engaging and monitoring third party facilities providers for all preventative maintenance schedules and property repairs for their portfolio of agency locations.
- Responding to property related enquiries and issues from staff members.
- Assisting with branch seating allocation activities.
- Monitoring levels of stationery and consumables within a portfolio of agency locations and ensuring sufficient stocks are ordered and delivered to sites.
- Developing and maintaining car park ballots.
- Working collaboratively with other enabling services to ensure positive outcomes for staff.
- Assisting and supporting the agency Fleet team by acting as a Vehicle Control Officer where applicable.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Must be Australian Citizen
- Facilities management experience (or similar)
- Exposure to property or capital works projects
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong administration skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing demands
- Highly organised with an eye for detail
