This vibrant 39 place, community-based preschool is seeking a Centre Director to help lead and guide a team of educators to further successes. The service follows a play-based and interest-based approach whereby children are provided the agency to voice and guide their own learning experiences. The centre boasts large indoor and outdoor spaces which are purposefully designed and well-resourced to ensure educators are provided with the opportunity to implement high quality educational experiences.
As the Centre Manager, your role is to inspire, lead and mentor others whilst creating and maintaining a positive learning environment for children aged 2-5 years, as well as, connecting with their families and the local community.
The Role
As Centre Director of the service some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Being responsible for the daily management and administration of the service
- Motivate, support and work in partnership with the Assistant Director, Educational Leader and all educators, driving them to excel as they deliver care and educational programs to children
- Overseeing the centre curriculum based on the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
- Driving quality in practices in line with the National Quality Standards
- Mentoring and guiding the service philosophy
- Be enthusiastic, positive, productive and conduct oneself in a professional manner

About You
To be successful in this position you must have:
- Diploma or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (equivalent or higher) qualification OR ACECQA-approved
- Prior experience as an Assistant Director or Educational Leader
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Manager
- A current Working with Childrens Check
- Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and QIP
- Knowledge about childcare subsidy schemes is a bonus!
