Job Description
As an IT Procurement Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating various procurement activities across the IT division, generating reports and schedules, and monitoring and maintaining status reports on all procurement activities.
- Collaborating with the Procurement Directorate's teams to ensure that the IT division has visibility of all procurement activities, statuses, and any issues that require resolution.
- Managing the procurement pipeline, working with stakeholder teams to prioritise demand and schedule procurement activities.
- Keeping accurate records of procurement status, working with a range of stakeholders, and highlighting and escalating risks.
- Serving as the primary point of contact within the IT division for all procurement activities and acting as the liaison between the IT division and procurement teams.
The Successful Applicant
As a successful applicant you will posses the following qualities:
- Familiarity with procurement processes and policies, including negotiating contracts, managing procurement pipelines, and prioritising demand.
- Excellent record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and the ability to highlight and escalate risks in a timely manner.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple teams and departments.
- Knowledge of IT procurement practices and trends, including familiarity with technology products and services.
