Your role will be to lead the design and implementation a new Data Warehouse solution in Azure. The purpose of this data warehouse is to store various payment related data sets, used as a one source of truth to develop meaningful and insightful Power BI reports.
A bit about you:
As an experienced Data Engineer, you have
- Experience designing and implementing a new Data warehouse solution, ideally in Azure.
- Cloud experience (ideally Azure)
- Experience with Azure Synapse
It would be a bonus if you have experience in;
- Streaming (Spark, Kafka, EventHub, Kinesis or similar)
- Delta Lake & lakehouse architecture
- Databricks
- Power BI

- $900 - $1050 /day
- 6 month contract, with a 6 month extension planned, and potential to extend further
- Flexibility
*Please note: Due to the greenfield nature of this project, the successful candidate will be required to primarily work from the office 5 days/week for the first 3 months (with some flexibility of course), and further flexibility afterwards as the project continues to develop.
