As a HFC Network Integration Specialist you will coordinate and execute hardware & firmware upgrades, node split migrations, and all affiliated changes on a large-scale HFC network. This role will consist of a multi technology mix including physical access mediums across fibre, copper, HFC, FTTx, Fixed Wireless and Satellite to deliver high speed internet services across an expanding HFC network.
This role is looking for an eager, self-starter with extensive telecommunications/network experience, preferably within HFC programs of work.
**This role has a high preference for Melbourne-based candidates with candidates located in other states able to be considered**
Responsibilities:
- Assist in validating & executing planned change requests across network jurisdiction
- Coordinate node split & migration execution
- Contribute to all affiliated hardware & firmware upgrades to HFC network elements
- Conduct spectrum changes in DOCSIS platform
- Contribute to work plan & process creation
Key Relationships:
- HFC teams
- Change management
- Activation/Field Teams
- IT teams
- Network Implementation Manager
Qualifications/Certifications/Relevant experience:
- Bachelor's degree (Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electrical, etc)
- 2+ years in similar role (Network Specialist/Engineer)
- 3+ years (preferred) in telco/network client environments
