Our client is an Australian business that is growing in the defence and law enforcement industries. They are developing system integration technologies for the ADF and emerging in the Law enforcement, intelligence and cyber domains.

They have an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager/ Scheduler to come in to develop and maintain program master schedules. Along with dealing with schedules, be the subject matter expert in Earned Value Management (EVM) to provide the analysis and support all programs as required.

This is a Full Time Permanent Position based in Melbourne, VIC.

As the Junior Project Manager/Scheduler you will:

- Monitor and control the project schedule utilising OPP
- Develop and maintain EVM processes and procedures
- Prepare monthly reports for EV and CMS for both internal and external stakeholders
- Manage small work packages and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) as a junior Project Manager
- Analyse, review, and communicate to management cost and schedule variances.

About you:

- Have tertiary qualification(s) in Finance or accounting, along with Project Management
- Demonstrated project scheduling experience in complex projects.
- Experience utilising scheduling software (OPP, MS Project, Cobra)
- Sound understanding of EVM reporting in a Government / Defence environment
- Ability to integrate and develop schedules both domestically and internationally

The candidate must be an Australian citizen and have a NV1 clearance
