The EL1 Assistant Director - Workforce Planning plays a crucial role within the organisation, providing leadership and strategic direction in workforce planning and management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a contact centre environment, with responsibilities spanning from resource management to stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a multi-functional team within a contact centre environment, overseeing workforce planning and management activities.
- Provide end-to-end workforce planning for the National Contact Centre (NCC), including forecasting work effort and maintaining capacity.
- Lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders to inform the NCC planning cycle and represent interests in various forums.
- Develop a strong understanding of NCC operations and drive performance improvements in a call centre environment.
- Schedule and optimise activities for agents, responding to short-term changes to ensure optimal NCC performance.
- Capacity and recruitment planning to maintain strategic capacity.
- Data analytic skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in team leadership and workforce planning within a contact centre or similar environment.
- Proven ability to effectively engage and manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to forecast work effort and drive performance improvements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are highly desirable.
This is a 12 Month contract with opportunity to be extended
