Senior leadership opportunity Superintendent Maintenance Open cut mine located in the NT
A unique opportunity for a Superintendent Maintenance to fill a critical leadership role in our team. You will provide leadership, strategic and tactical direction to the Maintenance function ensuring delivery and planning of safe, high quality project performance.
About you
We are looking for a maintenance professional with strong leadership and technical skills teamed with a positive, can-do attitude, who can coach and mentor existing Supervisors, set and maintain standards and engage the team to help them reach their potential. There is an opportunity for this person to have a positive impact on the site and make a difference.
Skills & Experience

- Relevant experience with Caterpillar; 745 Articulated trucks, 390& 375 F Excavators, 972,980 & 988 M Series Loaders, Cat 140 G & M series graders experience highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision-making skills.
- Ability to participate and contribute within a team working environment.
- Communication including oral, written and interpersonal and the ability to interact with all levels including internal, external stakeholders and clients including the ability to communicate, influence, build and maintain effective relationships
Requirements
- Trade Certificate or Diploma in Maintenance Management (preferred)
- 5+ years experience in a similar role within open cut mining
- NT Resident highly regarded
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with Key Stakeholders (Peers) across all departments
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to foster and maintain a positive safety culture
- Demonstrated technical skills including maintenance strategy development and optimisation, Maintenance Work Management implementation
- Experience in the use of Microsoft excel and Maintenance management tools
Working
Roster 15 days on 13 days rest
FIFO Darwin to site
Immediate start required
Additional requirements include:
- Must pass a full pre-employment medical prior to commencing employment that takes into account the role requirements, working conditions and the remoteness of the site.
- HR Drivers licence (desirable) C Class mandatory for job role
- Ability to travel in light plane to site
