It is headquartered and listed in Australian stock exchange and employs nearly 15000 staff in over 20 countries is the world's largest asset manager in infrastructure and Australia's top ranked mergers and acquisitions adviser with almost half a trillion dollars in assets under management.
About the role
Because of their immense growth in their Information Management portfolio, an exciting opportunity has come up in one of their offices in Sydney. You will be joining their elite data management team and playing a Solution Designer role in driving the data governance across their global teams. They are urgently looking for a Solution Designer to support and grow in building data governance platform and tooling capability. This role will also manage the information focused on enabling scalable application of information management practices, tools by optimising and automating processes. Skill Sets
You need to have the following skill sets to excel in this role:
- 5+ years Data Management or Business Management experience or an equivalent tertiary education
- Comprehensive knowledge on data governance/management concepts and experiences in leading the design/implementation.
- Experience in data governance/management products, preferably Collibra, or Informatica Data Quality, etc
- Excellent business and technical analytics skill to transform business requirements to technical designs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills with a passion for championing change
- Proficient in understanding in-house eco-system and leading the design process across different teams.
- Preferable financial services experience
Key responsibilities include:
- Work with the Agile project team to complete the assigned task and achieve enterprise objectives.
- Engage in the tooling design lifecycle and enhance it continuously.
- Perform regular forum packs and analysis.
- Work with Tooling leads to design products that exceed customer requirements.
- Conduct data profiling, transforming business rules into data queries, investigating data exceptions, performing root cause analysis and providing inputs for implementing data controls.
