Globally, our client has over 400 dedicated employees managing their operations which comprise of 13 offices, two mines and eight processing plants including five large scale recycling facilities.
Job Description
Reporting to Global Marketing Support Manager, this is a fun, exciting, diverse and challenging role in a fast paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist the Global Marketing Support Manager in building and executing social media strategy, developing compelling marketing content (written and visual) that creates brand awareness or generate leads for the regional sales teams
- Plan and Manage the Social Media strategy for the brand with a focus on community engagement - ensuring that content is optimised to drive brand awareness and grow the community
- Utilise data and analytics to define prospect audience opportunities, understand our customers, helping to broaden our reach across digital channels
- Continually look at how industrial products are marketed, and develop cut-through marketing content.
- Define and Manage a multichannel proactive and reactive content strategy to be delivered Globally
- Own the brands content calendar and manage it centrally to ensure a consistent stream of engaging content.
- Drive ideas for new content initiatives that can be repurposed across multiple channels - ie copy, video, image and infographics.
- Work closely with, partner & leverage other key marketing resources, including our internal and external agency and freelance digital & creative teams.
- Work in conjunction with the Campaign & Digital Specialist the company website that results in an engaging website that generates leads and ultimately leads to a strong brand experience
- Work with creative teams to develop brand ideas, advertising copy, graphic designs and promotional materials.
- Provide general marketing support on other adhoc projects, sales and marketing tools such as tradeshow designs, product brochures and digital marketing tools.
- Measure and report performance of all social media channels and assess against business benchmarks: including monthly campaign reports and creative optimisation
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, advertising, or communications.
- Minimum of 5 years content marketing experience, with specific writing and visual communications, social medial, strategy & planning, monitoring, optimisation and reporting.
- Digital: Website CMS, Hubspot Marketing or similar Marketing Automation tools.
- A team player who encourages collaboration and working across countries and cultures.
- B2B industrial marketing where multiple stakeholders are involved with long sales cycles.
- Experience in managing end-to-end social media strategy and planning from idea generation through to execution.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Able to grasp and understand highly technical concepts and understand how to develop marketing content that will resonate with the target audience.
- Experience in marketing automation tools such as Hubspot would be highly desirable.
- Experience with marketing tech platforms, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager as well as website CMS platforms.
- Excellent organisational abilities such as multi-tasking and working under pressure.
- High attention to detail and project management skills.
- Ability to think independently and initiate suggestions for improvement where suitable.
