Job Description
- Manage the marketing calendar and ensure strategic execution of campaigns.
- Oversee product portfolio management, analysing trends and recommending improvements.
- Provide input on product, pricing, and promotion design for new items.
- Deliver overall brand health metrics and meet financial category targets.
- Monitor and address performance of each product category with corrective actions.
- Gather consumer, commercial, and customer insights to inform strategies.
- Maintain consistency across marketing elements (branding, messaging, etc.).
- Execute campaigns across diverse channels (digital, traditional, in-store).
- Collaborate with sales, customer marketing, and e-commerce teams for strategies.
- Manage annual marketing budget, track resource allocation and ROI.
- Prepare regular reports on activities, performance, and ROI.
- Stay updated on industry trends and identify innovation opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for effective execution.
The Successful Applicant
Key Skills Required
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive marketing strategies
- Preferably, experience in budget management, including handling an annual marketing budget of at least $500K
- Proven expertise in managing omni-channel environments and the marketing mix, with a focus on bricks and mortar
- Previous experience working with customer/trade marketing teams to develop customer marketing campaigns
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver multiple projects within deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools is desirable
Experience/Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in brand management or campaign management within the branded FMCG industry
- Managed an extensive portfolio of products in online and bricks and mortar channels
